This board is great! At first I didn't notice how large of a map it was, but after gaining some traction it still doesn't seem that large. The transfer from early to mid to late game is VERY smooth and can be played well with team members.

Risk of Thrones rated  Perfect
Wow! This board is a lot of fun. The different scenarios feel like they are their own board each with a strategy to go with them. I haven't had a chance to play team games on each, but when I play them individually I imagine what I would do with a partner. Every territory has it's use for massing armies and blocking from different angles. Rivers are amazingly useful and dreadful at the same time.

After just a few games I know this is going in my all time favorites list. Give it a try and rate it yourself.

War Of The Roses rated  Perfect
I've played this board various ways and they all mesh well into the overall functionality of it's mechanics. Truly one of the greats, and this one has it all. Fogged games provide cover for sneak attacks on the crown, team settings don't allow for unbalanced game play with early transfers, Games with high numbers of players does give the impression that there's a scramble for control of the realm. High stakes bonuses, low bonus turtle stations, interesting choke points, fair neutrals.

All this being said, give it a shot, bring friends, and start a tourney so I can join.

Mario 3 -- World 6 rated  Perfect
Mario 3. Who'd have thought it'd be a perfect risk board. Thank you Jigler for trying something new in that noone starts with a bonus! Cannot say it makes it better than the others, but definitely allows anyone an even chance. Being larger than the rest it allows teams to fight longer before being wiped out in an area completely on a team setting. Chaining is more of an enemy than any player on the board so it always has to be watched for. Proper amount of reach, player totals, chokepoints, and bonuses available to utilize each to your advantage. Perfect.

SICK, I love it. I'm horrible at the Barbarians scenario, but am sure to be there to raise your rank! The tech tree is perfectly balanced between the three choices, Africa having the hardest decision to make here since it has no benefits to tech. I thought Asian life gains were hopeless until I fortified 30 troops to my front each turn and smashed continents down. Fun all around. Many different strategies to utilize. Enjoy with any number of players or a team of them.

Slow starts which switch at neck breaking speed when the card sets climb. Hard to reasonably attain a bonus especially when inital placement dooms you to the four corners. There are things I like about it, but not enough to outweigh the bad.

The teardown of this board to it's "micro" size is reasonable, efficient, and fun; Not a favorite though.

Thank Nygma for a great board. Easily distiguishable continents with fair bonuses, more than reasonable board access provides reach for upcoming stalemates, and natural fog settings are perfect for increasing numbers of players as you cannot tell where the next hit will come from.

Perfect simulgear board. Very fun to win and lose. Teamplay options are endless. FFA scrambles are the best, which a couple of the scenarios provide. Head2Head is a personal favorite. Perfect.

Brand new so I'm sure everyone is still forming opinions. From what I've seen the Hardcore mode is PERFECT for teamplay. Moving around each other and walling up chokepoints are one of the more exciting aspects to it. Natural fog settings on both scenarios need not be changed. Without abandon the team settings are the same as any other great board but with more ways to compliment each other. Territory bonus adds up fast. Holding a continent almost seems unfair so you better get your own fast! Any area is a good one to start from. Enjoy, I'll see you out there.

Mario 3 -- World 5 rated  Superb
Mario 3. Who'd have thought it'd be a perfect risk board. My only qualm is that initial placement can easily decide the game, but that goes both ways.

Not sure about this one because I swear it hates KillDawgs everywhere. The defense modifiers make me think I'm swinging a 1 sided die against a 6... sometimes without the defense modifiers. Don't take my review to heart though, try it yourself and join my club if you wish.

Very fun. The initial curve is steep but once you're over it one of the gods hits you and chaos follows. Home for several strategies and leaves room for underdogs who saved their card sets.

Feudal Japan rated  Perfect
Excellent board, one of my favorites. Experienced players usually bring a different strategy which isn't needed. The East to West boarders are amazing; where two bulked territories can guard your entire empire. The dice can be unforgiving, but so was feudal Japan. Definitely NOT an unbalanced board.
